The Greater Downtown Vandalism Recovery Grant is intended to provide economic relief to businesses and non-profit organizations in Downtown Red Deer that have been negatively impacted by vandalism.
This grant is administered by the Central Alberta Crime Prevention Centre (CACPC) and funded through the City of Red Deer. It provides a 50% reimbursement (up to a maximum of $2,000) to help cover costs incurred to repair vandalism or remove graffiti and can be used for insurance deductibles.
This grant can be applied for up to 5 times however each application must be for a separate incident that has been reported to the RCMP, and must have occurred between June 1 - December 31, 2024.
